Can be mounted on desktop and used in disk mode as an external drive. Just plug in the firewire 400 cable and it automatically mounts (or charges) on the Mac desktop. Great for transporting files from computer to computer. Has some very, very fine scratches on polished stainless back cover from normal wear + tear, screen shows a few very faint hairline scratches. An original classic iPod.
